Gilles Ferrier

Gilles is a board-level operator with extensive experience leading operational turnarounds, post-merger integrations, and scaling initiatives in PE-backed industrial businesses across the UK and Europe.

Having been in the seat, Gilles brings first-hand understanding of what sponsors expect and how businesses behave under pressure. His work focuses on restoring control, protecting value, and stabilising operations when performance, pace, or delivery is at risk.

He is frequently asked to step into complex situations where speed, judgement, and execution discipline matter, including distressed assets, post-deal integrations, and businesses preparing for scale or exit.

Across his career, Gilles has led complex M&A and integration programmes for international industrial groups, overseeing operational due diligence, post-deal execution, and value-creation initiatives across multiple European markets.

​

He has played key operational leadership roles in several successful private-equity exits, including multiple MBOs. In one PE-backed platform, revenue and EBITDA tripled between entry and exit under his operational leadership, positioning the business as a global category leader.

​

Most recently, Gilles led the post-administration recovery of a multi-entity industrial group, consolidating four businesses into a single scalable operating platform. His mandate focused on restoring safety, stabilising delivery, rebuilding leadership discipline, and preparing the organisation for sustainable growth and exit readiness.
